Well, I have a few suggestions... they arnt really world ending but theyre quite nasty.
1. Bird Flu. Mutates and starts transfering from human to human. It is said that these chances are pretty slim because of these 'control zones'. Except we are forgetting one thing... We CAN NOT control control nature, nature controls US.
2. Most of you would of probably heard of these 'particle accelerater machines'.
At the moment they are only prototypes but its basically about neuclear fusion and the only other place this 'fusion' happens is on the sun... The imense heat and pressures would be recreated here on earth to endure neuclear fusion...BUT, if anything was to go wrong... even once... the heat and pressures released from this one machine in a lab in oxford (hehe, bin doin my homework lol) would litterally blow the earth to pieces. Sceptical? Ask the experts
3. One word... Yellowstone. This thing ab so lute ly massive. It is a supervolcano that has errupted many times in the distant past and the erruptions have been pretty evenly spaced. A discovery program said that geophysicists had placed that an erruption should of occured around 663-1000 A.D... How they made that prediction, I havent got the foggiest lol but one obvious thing was pointed out... We are over due... A lot
4. This ones a bit iffy but I still like the idea.
A more intelligent species from another planet would arrive at our earth seeking out appropriate resources. i.e, water, iron, coal, oil, or even another home to call their own. Or it would be to wipe out other intelligent life before it gets a chance to become seriously advanced, in fear of themselves becoming in danger. Hey, why fight when you can avoid it?
But for you non believers... I cant prove anything about 'aliens' actually existing but I will say one thing: There are literally billions upon billions of stars out there and if just one of those stars had planets, and if just one of those planets had intelligent life... Then there would be thousands of intelligent species out there... If there isnt, then it would be an awful waste of space. Dont you think?

wwIII is goin to be the end of the world we got Isreal attacking lebanon and soon iran and syria(isreal is the United States of the middle east...go get em isreal) Kim Jong il with his missle program and china and russia helping themwith it korea will launch a nuke at us will luach a couple back then china and russia luanches a couple then Isreal's like why not and launches a few..........then We have World Wide Nuclear Fallout people so in other words it could be tommorow or in a couple years who know....
anyways... i say
1. a worldwide nuclear war
2. mother nature will get pissed, resulting in global warming, etc.
3. people will end up migrating to another planet(like in 1000 years or more) and forget about earth
4.aliens will attack =/ yes i believe in aliens for all who wanted to ask
