I learned al the words but one (n*****) from my father because he has a tendency to swear really loud when he gets mad (which he used to do often). Though I know them, I find that I don't use them often or in front of children younger than me. What really makes me mad is that at my school, everyone uses them and don't care. If they were meant to be everyday words, then they wouldn't be known as swear words. A lot of people seem to think that using them makes you "cool," but it doesn't, it just makes you look stupid and proves that you don't have a wide vocabulary, and probably don't even know what vocabulary means! Most kids learn curses form their parents and other family members, peers, and video games that their parents buy them. The problem with the video game rating system in the US is not the system itself- it works fine! It's in the parents. They buy games for their children without knowing what's in it just because their kids want it and they think that if they don't satisfy their children's every want and need, then thay're bad parents. Which is totaly wrong because to do that is to spoil your child, but to satify their every need and some wants is to be a good parent.
