if your a loner, a ps2 mod chip is only for playing games by your lonesome self.

If your mate has a ps2 that isnt chipped, then how are you meant to play your burnt games? " yeah go down to the shop there and pick me up a mod chip eh ? ". doesn't work that well.. Yeah so mod chips suck. Especially when you want to just enjoy games with your mates.

Eh. I don't think mod chips suck. It makes playing games a hell of alot cheaper. You can play games which haven't come out in your country at all or are coming out later than in other countries.

I jsut didn't mod my Ps2 and PSTwo. I used the slide tool for the PS2 and those little rubber stoppers for the PSTwo, works like a charm. Of course, you have to swap the dvd before you can play a game, but it's perfetcly fine and it cost me $20.

Huh, what's the difference between Ps2 and PSTwo? My ps2 is chipped, but it's not regionfree so I can't watch dvd's from all regions. I did download some ps2 region free thing but I still have to burn it and see how that swapping works.

PS2 is the big bulky one and the PSTwo is the slimline one. It's like the PS1 and PSOne. I dunno, not everyone says it but I like it.

Oh, lol. I thought it was some new thing. I dunno, I like the big bulky one, I just wish I'd have it in an other color than black.

Yup, that slide-tool saves from a lot of stuff, money, warrenty, and all the other crap. You bought the slide-tool for 20 bucks? I got mine for three, lol.
