What are you talking about? In the early ages Sega and Nintendo were as much rivals as the Buckeyes (Ohio State University) and the Wolverines (Michigan) are now. After Sega went solely software instead of hardware, they started leasing their games to other countries (Soul Caliber II). Sonic became mostly Nintendo until a little game called Sonic Heros.
