August 31, 2005 - Many a would-be farmer raised his memory stick in joy at the prospect of a portable Harvest Moon for the PSP. First announced last year, we've at last learned the true nature of Marvelous Interactive's attempt at PSP farming, and it's that dreaded four letter word that begins with a p.
That's right, the PSP version of Harvest Moon is a port. Marvelous is resurrecting two PlayStation Harvest Moon titles for the PSP in the form of Bokujou Monogatari Harvest Moon Boy & Girl. The PSP game includes the PlayStation girl and boy entries of the Harvest Moon series. The games appear in a window on the PSP's screen, with the border made to look like grass.
It's currently unknown if Marvelous plans on making any improvements to the games. A Japanese release is set for November 23 carrying a full PSP price tag of 5040 yen.
