I started this thread because I haven't seen any others about it. I downloaded pokemon emerald, and I patched it with the ips file. When I start a new game, it crashes, also anytime I try to save. Can anyone help me?

i don't think your supposed to patch it,remove the patch you put on it.

Well mine just works great ( even if I have saving problems with some ROMs ) so retry to download the ROM and put it on your F-C .

download a non patched version.

What emulator are you using?

If you are using VBA than there are options where you do not need to patch it at all but just have the IPS patch on the outside.

Maybe the reason it crashed on you is that the Rom you downloaded is corrupted?

Maybe it didnt finish downloading but said it was?

or Maybe the emulator cant play it?
