It won't let me set the extension of GBA files to open VBA.
You know, when I click on a GBA or GBC file it should open the Visual Boy, but it's nto working for some reason. I know what I should do; when it prompts me to select what program it should open all I have to do is check off always use it program and select the Visual Boy advanced.

One problem though: it won't let me select VBA. When I click on browse, then on the VBA nothign happens. Is there somethign I'm messing up or what? I've had it working before; but now it just won't work, and I don't know why.

maybe......u have to change the type of program the files(.gba) are opened u have to make them opened by gba emulator or by no application.to do that u right click the .gba file then go to properties, the window should appear and if u can notice the "opens with" click change and chose he gba emulator.if this doens work them explain more about the problem.

you can correct this problem by doing it manually through the OS's file extension management.

Open up a folder.
Goto Tools>Folder Option
Than File Types
Click on New
Type GBA or GBC
and Associate that with VBA

The latter explanation ALMOST works, but gives me a "unspupported file-type" error. Oh well :-/

Because roms don't associate themselves with VBA? That's a horrible suggestion.

Yeah, I'm sure it works. I've assosiated it before, but I stopped using roms for a while (but left them on the computer) and it didn't work anymore. I have a hunch that it has somethign to do with the compression of the the files. (Everyone once in a while I compress files I haven't used in X weeks) Because I found some of my roms were compressed. Thing is I redownloaded all of them and still nothing.
