About Black Rose Gate
1000 years ago, during the war between Humans and Demons, the Humans seemed to be losing, and the demons seemed unkillable. Several wizards, however, came up with a technique to seal the demons in what they called "Gates". These gates would be sealed for a thousand years. Only another demon had the power to unseal a gate. Even if it was only temporary, the wizards also sealed away the Demons' true names. Meaning that even after 1000 years, they couldn't fully access their demon form unless someone utters their true name. Of course, 1000 years later, finding someone who knows your name isn't easy.
One particular ferocious demon that was dubbed "The Hell Beast", was too strong for a regular Gate. Thus, the Black Rose Gate was created to seal away The Hell Beast. While the Black Rose Gate was the only Gate recorded into the archived history of the world, their are millions of others across the world, quickly unsealing, and more and more demons are appearing everyday.
The story begins 1000 years later, when the empire has finally found a Gate. They assume it is The Black Rose Gate, considering it's the only gate they've found within a millenium. Meiyru, the mistress of the empire, appears at the gate ready to reseal it for another 1000 years. The Only reason she is able to do this is because one of her ancestors was part of the group of wizards that sealed away The Hell Beast. However, Meiyru, being half-demon, not only fails to seal the gate, but manages to unseal it, letting loose a demon named Teyrs. In Teyrs' rage, she slaughters a brigade of Imperial soldiers and blows up an island before losing her powers and falling straight into Zeliace Forest.
Meiyru, returning to the empire, assumes Teyrs to be The Hell Beast, and commences a dangerous search for Teyrs. Meanwhile, two travellers, Dyne and Maya find Teyrs in the forest, reverted to her human form. Maya insists on helping her, while Dyne, a bounty hunter, is more interested in trading her in for money. The two make way to Merydia Inn to see if they can help her. But Helping a demon like Teyrs will not be easy with the empire on their trail.
With the empire at her disposal, will Meiyru be able to catch Teyrs, Dyne, and Maya, or will they finally reveal the truth about the Black Rose Gate?

Black Rose Gate has many features in it. Here's a few of them to look out for when the demo comes out.

- Meet up with "Scholars" who will help teach you certain spells
- Use magic items in battle to deliver heavy damage!
- Enter the "Bonus Room" for extra features (GamingW version only!)
- Excellent Introduction scene with Vocals by Ayumi Hamasaki
- Two Dungeons, One Town, One Sidequest, and tons of story in only the first demo!
- Plenty of Treasure to be collected and enemies to be defeated!
- Revisit the Tavern again and again to meet many different characters!
- One Extra Dungeon to go through in order to find the Sunrise Seasoning!
- A Fun Minigame to play while you're in Merydia Village. Think you can get the high score?

Beta Tester:
- No real experience required, just to hunt down obvious bugs
- Must try and complete everything in the demo (sidequests, talking to people, etc.) in order to find bugs
- You don't have to be an RPG fan, but someone who's played many RPGs will know what to look out for.
Advanced Beta Tester:
-Must have experience with the RPG Maker 2003 program
-All of the above requirements
Character Design:
- Must be familiar with how to make Sets for the RM2K3 program
-Must have a good knowledge and artistic ability to make Face designs for the characters
