Forums · Swords or Guns?
this debate is based around which weapon would make a better game? and which weapon would be more enjoyable to use. I'd prefer swords and axes compared to guns and shotguns that do shit'all damage. Sure the explosions and guts flying everywhere looks good... but what do you prefer ?
Gimme a Broad Sword and Dual .50 Desert Eagles any day =)
Guns are better than swords simply because they can cause more damage, quicker. The only downfall is that a gun can run out of ammo while a sword can keep swinging =) But hopefully your enemy will be dead by then.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Ehhh No. You will never stop more than one bullet with a sword, and even then it will be luck. If someone had a sword and someone had a gun, the dude with the gun would win every time.

I would enjoy a game with swords better. Coz you can be trainded into becoming a really good sword fighter but you cant be trained into becoming a better shooter coz guns have their limit but swords depend on your own strength. unless your a sniper coz you can always inprove your accuracy.
But then agian it really doesnt matter what type of weapon you have it depends on the engine and the game feels and how fun and much control you have in the fight.

It's not really the weapons that I look at, but the features the game has. But I still like using swords better =P

plus another thing about swords, you can play your battle like a chess match mixed with a boxing match in one :D. Guns is more like being on a ball rolling around everywhere dodging, weaving bullets, and attacking. Swords are better... do you think ?
