Is there a way to compress the ROM "Chrono Trigger.smc" to smaller than 3.0mb so it can be transferred to a 1.44mb floppy disc?
(Don't tell me to burn it because I don't have a CD Burner).

That's kinda impossible... chrono trigger is like what, at least 5mb.

if u feel like waiting a couple hours or even 10+ there's compression method that has a compression ratio of about 2 to 1, altho I never cared about compressing sumthing that much as to wait hours and hours, so I can't verify that 100%, but I'll give u tha link if u want

for both of them u have to choose the compression method

You can look into izarc. It's a relaly good compression program... it does 7z, but I don't think that'll be enough.

Why not just upload all your save files to www.domaindlx.com and download it again on the compiter you're transferring it to...:)

Try using WinZip to make a Multi-Part Archive. Create an EMPTY zip file on the floppy disk and then add the file. After the floppy is full it will ask for Disk 2. Take the disc out and move it to the second computer. Move it off the floppy. Then insert the disk into computer 1. and repeat until all archives have been transferred. Then once all files are on the second computer, click on the LAST archive created and then extract it. It will then ask for the other archives in the extraction process.

You could also use multiple floppy disks instead of one.

Winrar also has a function that allows you to set the zip size.  You can set it to 1.44mb and whatever file your trying to zip will be split.  To "un-rar" it you'll need winrar on the computer your trying to play it on.

Thats also a problem, the other computer has no access to the internet and I can't create a new connection because I don't know the the password.
