I am having a big problem. Each time i play the vba emulator, my computer freezes after a certain time. But this is only for 80% of the roms.  So i am looking for people with this same problem. Plz reply.

I dont have the problem but I think its a RAM issue. Try closing some programs before loading VBA up..if that doesnt work, check your computer if it has any spyware or viruses.

A lot of people have reported this problem, are you using the VBA Link emulator? If not, what version of VBA are you using?

I am using the vba link emulator. But i have tried to play it on other emulators too like the non-linkable version and boycot advance. But they also have the same problems.

Yeeaah, Must be a RAM issue, how much RAM do you even have? You would be good closin' down some programs and stuff before playin as that will free up resources for ya playa.

I have about 128 mb Ram. But this shouldn't be a problem because I can run a game like Warcraft 3 without any problems. And how is it possible that some roms work without problems and others 'don't.

well then it mite be viruses and/or spyware, you could also try red/loading the emulator, or it mite even be tha rom ur playing...
another tihng, check how much ram is being used up by the emulator before it freezes, and if possible after it freezes because it's possible that the ram may still be the problem

ctrl+alt+del > processes tab > find the emulator and under the Mem usage column it will tell you

Edit: I know your fairly new here but try to avoid double-posting lol  ;D

Hmm, well shibubu is right when he says that you may need to scan your comp for spyware/adware. But i'm pretty sure it's a RAM problem, as 128MB RAM isn't a lot for GBA Emulation. Remember that Emulation takes up a lot more RAM than any PC game, mainly because the computer has to actually emulate a processor which is why emulators are so resource demanding. Try using Visual Boy Advance CE: http://www.zophar.net/Files/VisualBoyAdvanceCE10.zip

It's a faster version of VBA which runs better on lower spec PC's. See if that helps at all. Be good.

well vgamer, crazylife is right ,the emulators uses a lot of ram and overheats the processor sometimes, when u r playing vba do you use the speed up buttom??well big mistake >>by using the speed up buttom ur pc will explode cause u r making the emulator use 700% more than it does normally.  if thats not the problem then make sure ur computer is free from any harmful things like viruses and errors (use some cleaner like "ashampoo cleaner").  if not the problem then use vba 1.6 not the linker cause it uses more memory then the normal vba.good luck

Actually 128 RAM is enough. I have about 64MB of RAM and I run Boycott advance just fine on my older computer...

Well computers are different for different people, plus the original VBA uses up a lot more resources than Boycott as VBA is a much more powerful emulator.
