I have the Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap(U) and every time I start the game
it says
File in Data 1 corrupted
File in Data 2 corrupted
File in Data 3 corrupted
and when I try to start a new file it says Unable to Save.
I'm using VBA and the ROM worked fine before.
Can anyone help?

Change save type to Automatic
