Sure CT is good the way it is , but some of us hardcore fans would love to see it in 3-D. Chrono Trigger Resurection was another CT remake that looked a lot better but got a C&D as well. Besides this is all old news. The CTRP team got the C&D months ago.
Heh, you are insinuating that I am not hardcore. With something like this it is different. Like what if Leonardo DaVinci decided that after fifty years it was about time that he touch up the Mona Lisa? When they made the game they made it, finished it. By going back and fixing it its saying that it wasn't good enough the way that they had made it, had chosen to sell as.
And after they make it 3D it wouldn't be the same game. I've checked out some of their previews, the pictures and such, and no doubt they are awesome. But there is no way that the battle system would work going from 2D to 3D, and a large part of what makes Chrono Trigger Chrono Tigger is the battle system.
And even if they were all canceled a while ago, if they are willing to remake Final Fantasy 7 they could quite possibly go further back and remake older ones as well. Chrono Trigger still has a good chance of being redone for next gen consoles.
