its one that came with the thing, do you know how to make items on the map?
like when you go to pick up something you get the item?

and how do you actually play the game??
without testing
and change the window type and front screen?

lol this is quite a simple problem to fix and heres how you do it:

first off you need to know about layers, The first layer is where your hero walks around and such so put your grass here, for the secound layer you put stuff such as the clock thing you have in your screenshot, for the third level you put things such as teacups on table or chimmneys on the roof of a house and finally the event layer is for all your events such as NPC's. so to fix your proble put all the grass on the first layer and your clock on the secound layer.

NPC's are people in your game place them in the event layer to do this first go to the event layer and double click on where you want your character to be where it shows the picture of what the object/sprite looks like click there and select your sprite facing the direction you choose.

i placed a girl on the map and i want to make it so she says

"are you from here?"
you have a choice of "yes" or "no"
if you say "yes" she says "lier"
if you say "no" she says "well maybe we can be friends?"

how do i do that?
i can get as far as the choice of yes or no.

I never really got in to choices but I believe you may need to do a conditional branch. I'll figure it out.

For the map problem you need to change the view to middle layer before placing the clock etc. and for the girl's speech:
