PSP Version 2.00 was released to day, and DAMN! its worth getting!
You may wanna keep 1.0 (if you have a jap psp) or 1.50 for emulators, but whats better? emus or the internet?
this has been the biggest update so far with
internet
themes
custom backgrounds
more supported file types
and various other tweaks
so i advise you get it!

Its not a PSP emulator, its emulators for PSP, like RIN or snes9x. 2.00 is a software update for the PSP system itself, and it is irreverseble. 2.00has such high security, it won't run homebrew (emulators).

Emulators on DS are doing quite well actually. I know you think we're talking about an emulator that acctually plays psp games, but that's not it. We're talking about things like nes emulators on psp, which ds has as well.

You're right in some respects, it is reversible, but I has yet to be done. All downgrades using software have failed, so the most likely posssibilityi s that a downgrader will come out on a modchip which will flash the firmware, which will also be difficult, because of limited space in the PSP case. (Hey. that rhymes ;D)
