Will choose somewhere else to debut Revolution.

July 8, 2005 - Nintendo has traditionally steered clear of the Tokyo Game Show, which is Japan's answer to the yearly Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles. Usually, Nintendo has either not shown up for TGS or had minimal presence on the show floor. According to the official TGS website, it looks like 2005 will be one of those no-show years for Nintendo. Having said that, it's not official yet. Nintendo has yet to release an official statement.

Taking Nintendo's absence on the official TGS exhibitor list, and the fact TGS starts September 16 there is a very good chance it won't make it to the show this year. This brings up a number of questions, most of which focus on the Nintendo Revolution, the company's next-generation system and successor to the Nintendo GameCube. If Nintendo chooses not to attend TGS, when and where will the company fully unveil the Revolution?

Nintendo officials have already stated that more information on the Revolution will be revealed before the end of the year. It could be that Nintendo is planning to hold a SpaceWorld expo, which Nintendo uses to promote its own software and hardware. The company has not held a SpaceWorld event since 2001 but Nintendo officials have stated the show would return someday. Of course, if Nintendo intends on holding SpaceWorld during the same time as in years past, meaning August or September, it'd better start moving quickly.

Hmmm.....some trick N's planning. IF the Revolution is awesome, then it works...of course it might screw up if it sucks. So it's a 50/50 thing :P
