Im not sure whether the problem is in the game or emulator,but i have a problem nevertheless.The game is the US version of Megaman BN5:Team Colonel.The problem is that when i run the ROM, my save game isnt there and this has happened to me with other games.I think the problem is that I use the .sav file to save my games(going into the game menu and saving there),not the .sgm(file menu of emulator, and saving there),but i dont know.Can anyone help?If not, can anyone tell me how to restore my game back because im really far in the game(the 6th liberation mission, to be exact)and i dont want to lose it.

Change your save type from Automatic to EEPROM or vice versa (options>Emulator>Save Type) then save your game.

But why bother saving my game when i dont have anything to save?At least,i dont think i do because i have the .sav file that has everything in it but when i put it with the rom and open it, nothing happens

I just solved my problem without knowing it!What i did was run the game,then went to Options->Emulator->Save Type-> and picked "none" then reset the game. then i went back and picked "automatic". Then i reset it again and my game was there!!Im so happy i felt like a genius for a split second, then i realized that it was a simple problem and i felt like a stupid helpless person when it comes to computers and emulation....LOL....Thanx for your help anyways!!
