When i try and audit King of Fighters '94 using MAME32. I get these errors:

So do i have to find this BIOS file somewhere? And what is this BIOS File? Or what's wrong with my ROM? I don't want to redownload it because i'm on 56k and it took me ages to download. Any help would be appreciated  :(

You need a Neo-Geo Bios to run all games made by them.  I'll see if I can dig it up for you.

((EDIT: Go here http://users.aias.gr/lagakis/bk/files.htm and download every bios file.  Put them into your roms folder and you should be good to go.))

ARGH! I have a new problem lol! Maybe you can help me again. Alright, i did what you said, and it seems to have worked, i 'auditted' the ROM and i no longer get any of the error messages.

Then later i tried to run the ROM, i double click on it in MAME32, and then the MAME32 screen disappears and a dialog box of the ROM loading in it's files is shown. Once the dialog finishes, it disappears, and a few seconds later the MAME32 screen comes back again. Do you have any idea what could be wrong? I have the NeoGeo BIOS in my /ROMS directory, it's in .zip format. I also have my kof'94 ROM in the /ROMS directory, also in .zip format. So i really don't know what could be wrong. Any ideas?  :(

Can you run most MAME games well?  I would say it's either a rom problem (redownload and try again) or something hardware side.

What are your system specs?

lol you ppl still use mame?

Of course, there are so many games, i'll be having multiplayer fun with it for ages now heh.

Pentium III - 733 MHz
256 MB RAM
32 MB Geforce 1 Video Card
20 GB Harddrive (2.29 GB left)

That's about all the relevant specs. I haven't had any problem running any other MAME ROM. So your probably right, i'll download it from a different source (which i'm not looking forward too heh) and see if it will work. Then i'll report back later, again thanks for your help ;)

Please let me know if you get it working.  The only problem I see is the GeForce 1 card.  What other games have you tried?  I'd try running some other Neo-Geo games and see if they work as well.  SNK is also a Neo-Geo product.

Well KOF'95 works for me, so i guess your right, i need to redownload KOF'94 (i'm ditching my 56k for the first time in my life this Wednesday, so i'll be able to redownload it again)

Sorry for the double post, but this topic got bumped down.

I'll just say that i fixed my problem, i needed to reset all my ROM settings and all that, (it seems whenever i change them, it stops the ROM from running) but now it works. Pity thing it's no where near as good as the newer KOF games lol  ;D
