Why would you pay $700 for a program when you can get it for free?

I didn't know much about warez then.....and sides, the box art was cool! Lol ::)
Meh if you are doing graphics for leisure, then get warez. If you're doing it as a profession/business, buy it. If you don't buy it, you're likely to get fined a lot of money if your license for photoshop gets checked.

His comp is worse than yours :p

Well i think i matched my computer against b0b's, we're both in the sh*t i think, with Windows '98 and all. But b0b's is worse i think. My internet connection is the thing that makes things hard for me. Can't wait to ditch this 56k for ADSL.
i use photoshop elements, which is why i do not use brushes within my signitures. it came with my wacom along with corel and nik. the only thing i can do with them is draw pictures, not really edit them.
Well i just got Photoshop 7.0 and it sure owns that 6.0 crap heh. I can actually use most popular brushes on the net. I still wish Photoshop would be easier to manage though, i want to be able to put all my brushes and fonts into 'folders' which i could use to select them in Photoshop, mainly so they don't take up so much room and go all over the page. And also because it would make them much easier to find (also easier to choose the right brushs for the style your using, as all grunge brushes and texts would be in their own folders, as well as tech and abstract .etc)
IMO 5.5 is quite hard to make anything good now, mainly because you have to make your own brushes if you want to use it, most brushes aren't even compatible wtih 6.0, so if you want to get back in the loop you really need Photoshop 7.0 at least :P

you can do that manually you know.

Well i don't know how. Mind telling me? If you mean just put them in folders on your harddrive, that's not what i meant, i've already done it. I meant so you could keep them under 'categories' in the brush select menu. So if you put your mouse over 'Grunge' you'd get all your grunge brushes, put your mouse over 'Tech' you'd get all your tech brushes, .etc. I have about 100 brush sets so it fills up my entire screen. I could do with a radical space saver :P
Of course i have 7.0, so i don't know if CS has those features put into them.
Meh..... I didn't download mine or buy it illegally. I saw the CD laying around in a I.T. fair in my school, and no one around for yards.lol So I made a fast move and grabbed it. And that is the story of how I got Photoshop + Imageready CS.
