i have only ever thought about this once but would you take a bullet for someone you really loved, or even coz u thought itd be the right thing to do?
It's easy to sa you would but would you really?
Personally i would, only if it was for a good reason. If it was to save my step mom or dad i probably would or my brother. I would for family but i dunno if i would for ordinary friends but my best friends and gf i would.
Btw the bullet does have to kill you :P sorry bout that

Good point. It depends on their opinion. Of course they won't let someone take a bullet for them imo. But it depends, if the person in trouble would be tortured or something, I wouldn't want them to go through that. In that case, I don't think the person in trouble has anything to say about it.

Being shot isn't like being tortured, unless you bleed to death maybe.
What flarstar said is correct, By sacraficing (spl?) yourself to save them, you've basically made them your killer (thats how a lot of people would see it in their own mind). They have to live with that for the rest of their life, whereas if you let them die, they will pass on to the afterlife, or w/e comes after death.

I meant if the one you are willing to die for was tortured. It would sort of make them your killer, but if you really want that person to keep on living, it would be your own choice. If you love that person enough, you won't listen to what they'd say about imo.

Umm,well if you know where and when to jump,and precise the area the bullet will hit you,you won't die.Say if it hits you in the arm,you won't die unless you sit there for like 10 minutes and then die of blood loss,other then that I would take a bullet for any of my family members.Mostly my mom because she and my dad are the ones that brought me to the world.

Meh, I wouldn't take a bullet for anyone. If it's their time to die, then it's their time to die. Sure, it'll be sad, but ppl die, life goes on. Where they go after they die depends on them, everyone should be ready to die with no regrets if it's their time to go. So I wouldn't take a bullet for anyone else but myself.
