It's going to have a Metroid Prime game. Games won't be a problem. Also, I heard that Nintendo patented technology that lets you play games, surf the web, and watch TV at the same time. I also heard a rumor that there was going to be a touch screen type thing for the Revolution. What do we know that's Nintendo and has a touch screen?

You probably plug your DS into the Revolution and use it as a controller? Right? Sounds pretty cool.

But games are still Nintendo's problem, they haven't invented any new characters ever since the SNES came out (at least characters i can remember) and it's beginning to wear thin. Sure it's great to play new games in an old series but shouldn't Nintendo also be securing one off games for their consoles? Rather than the same types of games with the same types of characters, it's beginning to lose it's appeal. :(

It is suspected that the revolutionary aspect is in fact the contorller which has yet to be revealed. None of those features you mentioned are revolutionary as that term suggests it's never been done before.

*gets ready for a long talk on the revolution console*
ok....
the DS idea is unlikely, here is why
believe it or not, theyre going ot be reviving something that destroyed the snes, only they wiull be perfecting it!
the nintendo revolutions controller will...this is hillarious....a remote!when turned sideways you find out what the two little x and y buttons are for-snes games!,nintendos remote look was because many did not buy console because the controller seemed unbearable,so they went for something that would seem normal to be on your coffee table, anyways, back to the point; this remote controller will be wireless!yes, thats right,no need to buy overpriced wireless controllers that barely work!the top of the controller has a light..it looks like a LED,but it actually transacts with the revolution console to allow you to play more realistic games!
how it works:
in the fishing demo displayed in tokyo game shows, you could pick up an experimental controller, when oyu mvoed it,the pole moved!by moving it back, then forth, you could cast it out!
and they talked of a new game for it coming.......legend of zelda!think of it,you can move the revolution controller to move your sword for realisatic sword fighting, while using the D-pad to move around, the only bad thing will be the sensors, you will have to place them!

hope this helped

Emulation brought classic games online so people could play with others online. That Is An Emmence Experiance! Nintendo (surely) could russle up something similar? Because there is no legal way of having this much fun!

Also www.gamespot.com have just released video footage of the revolutions revolutionay controller. Wireless used in one hand, kinda works like those guns you get that fire at the screen. Sounds iffy. Can you play GC games on it? I am wanting to sell my Gamecube but am waiting for Zelda : Twilight Princess.

yes you can play gc,the nintendo talks about its biggest selling is the snes due to its immerse experience of thousands of fast original games,so they will be uinearthing up 20 years of experience, unless the GC was made 21 years ago,of course!,and because the revolution is faster, expecting GC games to actually work fast!

From what nintendo's said, it appears that this console is going to be extremly powerful, that remark of "2 to 3 times more powerful than gamecube" was nothing more than a stupid rumour, many people belive that nintnedo have found a way of having really good graphics (better than X-box 360) and keeping it at a low budget, about 100/200$ , satoru iwata, president of nintendo, has said that when you see the games in action, you'll say "wow!" and nintendo are trying much harder this time round to make the console better and more popular, but remember, graphics don't make a game.
