Father's day is just a few hours away. I'm just wondering what you people would give your father mainly because i have no idea what to give  :-X  :-/

Well my mum, me and my sister have decidied to give my dad a catmaran sailing course

I usually don't participate in mother's or fathers day. I don't see my father that much anyway and he never gets me a present so why should I give him one?

Also, I think there should be a daughter/sons day. There is a mothers and fathers day so why shouldn't we have one too? Kids have christmas and days like that, but what do the older ones get?

on topic: If I would give my dad a present, it would be a poem in a nice cart.

Well my mon and I are going to get him a bottle of his favorite wine and them me and my dad will go hunting for the rest of the day.

I totally forgot, I need to think so of something good cus my father has gotton me some good things this year.

I never get my parents stuff for mothers day and/or fathers day.
I think it's rather pathetic we should have one single day in the whole year to be thankfull to our parents.

Why do need a specific day for this?  Are kids hating their parents every other day of the year or somthing? Is society so pathetic they have to be told when to be thankfull?

The same for valentines day. Why do you have to buy stuff one a specific day every year simply because some people in the past decided it was a special day?

Think for yourself. Thank your parents every day. Love and be Loved every day of your life. Dont wait for a specific day just to show how much you love someone.

Well spoken ^_^ I think it is more of a day for the store's then for the mothers and fathers. They make it up so that people buy things. I get presents from my bf even if it isn't a special occasion (sp?) To me every day is special with him =). We don't need presents to feel special or tell someone you love them. But it's still a nice gesture (sp??) imo
