i downloaded the rpg maker at http://www.crankeye.com/files/RPG%20Maker%20XP%20v1.01%20-%20Postality%20Knights%20Edition%20v2.0%20ENHANCED.zip and i dont know how to: Make npc's on a map, make it so that you can walk from one map to the other and custmize the start up screen.
plz help me if you can it would be much appreciated.

Ok well:
NPCs:You have to click on the event layer and double click on a box where you want the NPC to be and put it there.
Map walk:Click on a box in the event layer then go to the 2nd menu then click teleport(first make another map to teleport to)
Start up screen:You have to find another RPG Maker XP and import it into your game.

Thanks! But now a new problem has occured I have suddenly lost all records of my game. they have been erased or so i think i can't seem to find the file that holds it and so now i regretfully have to remake the whole game which was sceduled to be up and running on Father's Day (Tommorow).
actually screw this whole message except for this the game file was found yay!!
How do I fix the problem of when some files have been extracted because i never touched the script ever!
