I am here becuase I own the server the IRC chat is on.  I own a few forums and I host certain forums for free, some in the IRC chat know why my reasons are for this.

I decided to join the forums, since I know alot of the chatters, and wondered what the site was about ^^.

I bet you're disappointed then if you had any expectation for this place that is. The visitors to this site are mainly 10-15 year old kiddies who don't know a thing about computers but want to play cheap (free) games. It is owned by a webmaster who doesn't give a toss (or at least not much) about this place (sort of reminds me of Malcolm Glazer), and not many of the mature useful members here respect the mods and admins much (I bet that feeling's mutual in quite some cases).
This place would have died about a year ago if it weren't for a few useful members and mods and admins, a number of whom were underappreciated and have therefore left.

Whining about it won't do anything. There are people like me who ignore the mods and admins but we have our reasons. Mine? They made pearldrum a mod.

First PC game remember?

My first game on PC EVER was Tomb Raider 2.

My first one was an arcade mix with with a bunch of games like Pacman and Galaga.

My first game was SimTown, on my neighor's computer. The first on my computer was probably the pre-installed Pinball or SimCity.

i cant remember too well, but i think it was either Duke Nukem 3D or Monster Truck Madness.

Mine was maybe a violent fighting game.It belonged to my parents
friends,and I was 4.If I didn't play that,my future would never
lead to here playing video games...

I think mine was something like Wolfenstein 3D, Doom or Warcraft2, I can't remember.

1st pc games for me were the old commodore 64 floppies, the ones you had to type in run *.* etc to play, they took 10 min to load, and looked worse than atari games

i guess its kind of like smoking, at 1st its terrible and makes you puke, so how the hell did we ever get addicted  ???

Er.. it was this learning game, you had to pick up bricks and put them on a truck, then put them on a shelf according to their shelf LOL

But yeah i've played old commander keen, hahaha what fun times, i remember Commander Keen 6 omg that game was pWnage, gave my nightmares but i finished it when i was 6 :D

The first commander keen games '1,2,3' were very easy though but still great.

I also played Syndicate, Wing Commander, Strike Commander, System Shock, Ultima VII, omg good times  :D
