Forums · Do u Remember your first pc game?, what was it?
I can remember playing pong and atari when I was REALLY young, but my first pc game wasn't really a pc game.
My dad had an Apple II and I used to play Choplifter and Lode Runner on it. Black and Yellow screen. The 'contorller' was a 2x2x3 inch box with a small 1 inch joystick sticking out of the middle with two red circular buttons on it. I'm talkin' old school.

Lol. *Thinks back to days long passed...* Hmmm, thats a hard one, it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day of floppy disks that were actually floppy and loaded through DOS... I believe the game was called Commander Keen. And from what I remember, it was quite a fun game.
OMG, my first PC game??? Wow must have been about 20 years or so ago. It was on the Texas Instrument Compture, it was called "Hunt the Wampus" ((do not mind the spelling, I cannot remember if that is correct)).
The main objective of thegame was to go through this maze and based on what color the "room" was you were in, you needed to decide which way to go. When you thought you found the Wampus, you needed to shoot your only arrow towards it. If you hit him, you won. If you missed, he ate you.

I checked your profile and it says you're -779 years old. So you'll be born in 2784. I'm gonig to assume that you were born in 1984 though, as that's the closest. If that is the case I must say that I have you beat. I'll be 22 this month.
Also Space Invaders wasn't on and sort of PC as far as I know until 1999. You might be thinking of Atari 2600, that one was released in 1981. MSX for it in 1985.
While searching it on gamefaqs look what I found.

And perhaps the name wasn't originally Space Invaders (as in a copycat)..but it was exactly the arcade game on the PC..I remember the day my dad "borrowed" an office pc and installed the game on it.
