I grew up with a NES and moved on with the systems.
I never owned a Genesi or Master System growing up so it's safe to say I was a Nintendo kid. Maybe I'm biased on the matter but I feel like I'm the only one willing to give Nintendo a chance.

Let me know I'm not the only one on thos forum who still likes Nintendo.

If you're going to post, "Nintendo is teh suxors" or anything of the sort I really don't want to hear it.

Good games I can think of for GC:
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
Pikmin
Pikmin 2
Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door
Resident Evil One
Resident Evil Zero
Resident Evil 4
Super Smash Bros.
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles (and I HATE FF games)
and anything Zelda, it was all good, seriously.

i grew up on Nintendo's NES too. I loved that little machine because i was a kid. Anyway, i used to play Super Mario bros 1, and Super Mario 2 and Mario kart on the Super Nes. We were always constantly going down to the rental store instead of buying the games because we'd finish them quicker than 2 days. I like the old style nes controllers.. they were funky looking if you asked me.. oh and at the time, i went through 4 gameboys trying to finish those darn mario games.. :P

I used to be a Nintendo fan, like you guys. My mistake back then was getting a Sega 16 bit after my NES instead of the much better SNES, thats why i've had to play most legendary SNES games on my PC.

Then I moved on to PSX, and though jealous at the N64 for some specific titles I'm glad i didn't buy it. (if anything just for the squaresoft titles on the playstation)

Having a PS 2 now, I again don't see much for Nintendo's rival console. The games are all really expensive, even FF Chronicles is still 60 euro here. I wouldn't say it sucks, for one I did enjoy Metroid and Pikmin was a very good and original title, but the majority of the gaming public here will probably not even have noticed the title, because of its happily colored cover and it not showing a beefed up car or scantily clad woman. Its sad, yes.

I don't think the Gamecube is bad persay, Mario Party or Mario Kart with 4 people can be a lot of fun (which it wouldnt be as much if they'd made the online leap already) but of the three current consoles it has the least appeal to me personally.
