Forums · Who is the good/evil charcters?
Good: Hm. Beside obvious Mario-like choices I can't think of one realistic game character that I'd truly describe as good. In most cases you don't know the character well enough, and in the rest it's usually just his/her job that requires him/her to do whatever it is he/she does in the game.
Evil: Well, Sephiroth is the ultimate evil character.

Good: Azurik
I'd have to say the goodest ( Actual Word :P ) good guy in the Gaming Universe would be Azurik. (Game: Azurik - Rise of Perathia) Very few people have heard of this character because of the games low... everything... Regardless, Azurik was a champion of all that is good and did everything in his power to save his people and homeland, with no reward other than satisfaction of knowing he did good. Azurik is a true Hero.
Bad: Agent 47
The worst bad guy (Depending on the player.) would be Agent 47. (Game: Hitman Series) This character slaughtered hundreds of people because he "felt like it." The opportunity to kill hundreds of civilians with this character is simply inhuman.
Wow, that took a lot of thought, replaying every game I've ever played again in my head, but I picked my two. And to those who post after me: Don't look like a n00b, give reason behind your choices...

Megaman is good to the core..
Vs.
Kane(Tiberian Sun) he experimented on thousands of people..and then there was the kinda hitler thing going on with convert or be destroyed slogan..

Good: I'd say Clank from the original. As while Rachet just tagged along for the fame and all, Clank never swayed from his path. He always wanted to get the bad guy, and that was so funny coming from a real short robot. :)
Evil Guy: Eggman. Of course. Some people think he's only after Sonic, but in the good old days, he would stop at nothing to get what he wanted..and that was complete control of the planet! And he nearly did it at some times, but he always kept trying...cuz he was so close that first time...

Oh don't even get me started about Sephiroth being the LEAST EVIL CHARACTER IN FF EVER lol. Well that's what i think, Kefka was easily the most evil (he was supposed to be a joke and a 'miniboss' until later in the game when you realise he meant to be a joke the whole time)
Good: Well as far as good characters are, they're normally sexy, good looking, athletic, christians and um.. nice hair lol. They don't have huge tempers and know just what to do at the right time and are leaders in their group. I'd say.. (can't think of anyone), not many characters are perfect.
Bad: Um.. normally either a handsome sexay character or a crazy, fat, wacking.. 'thing'. (or both) can't think of examples here either :-/

No, go on. I'm interested. I know Sephiroth isn't jumping up and down shouting "blow up the world" and that kind of silly stuff (its been ages since I played FF6..) ..its just that he used to be Cloud's friend. And the cool coldhearted way with which he means to obliterate the world by ..yknow. (dont want to spoil it for some people;p) And Ultimecia wasn't really evil either..just this dumb stereotype character.

No, go on. I'm interested. I know Sephiroth isn't jumping up and down shouting "blow up the world" and that kind of silly stuff (its been ages since I played FF6..) ..its just that he used to be Cloud's friend. Well Lionlake, last time i made an argument about this on G-Masters, some people got extremely pissed as i completely ruined their 'favourite game' Final Fantasy VII, by saying that it was a very cliched, stereotypical game, that wasn't very good at all and simply targeted a popular audiance. They obviously couldn't find anything good about Final Fantasy VII, and in the end, well let's just say some people were crying lol :P
So put it this way, Sephiroth was a stereotypical, good guy, gone bad case, who didn't have any part of him that made him anymore evil than the next villian and he had even been good at one point. Don't think i'll go any furthur, i hate Final Fantasy VII with a passion so i don't want to start anything.
And Lionlake FF6 had Kefka as the most evil hero, and damn it, he was the most evil, i never saw his twist coming. On the other hand Final Fantasy VII was ridiculously predictable and i was only about 10 when i first played it.
