Seriously, I just read a article on Super Mario 128 being moved to Revolution, and I can't help but say to myself, 'Yeah right'.

I mean there have been rumors about a sequel to Mario 64 since the N64 era and even when Nintendo unvieled the GC everyone believed it would come out on it. Personally I think it did come out on the GC, as Sunshine. However the initial reaction was against the game so Nintendo started talking about it not being the fabled Mario 128, and let everyone have there dreams about a perfect sequel to Mario 64.

What do you guys think, Mario 128 is it real, fake or something in between?

Well I'm sure that when it comes out it certainly won't be called something lame like "Super Mario 128". If it came out for the Gamecube, it would have to be called "Super Mario 32" because the Gamecube has a 32-bit processor. If it came out for the Revolution, then it would have to be called "Super Mario 64" and we already have that for the 64-bit NIntendo 64. The only way we will see Super Mario 128 is if it comes out for the PS2 or the Dreamcast.

The Gamecube has a 128-bit processor. None of the Nintendo systems had 32-bit. I know this for a fact, because the Dreamcast's processing power and graphics are diminished compare to the Gamecube. Most Gamecube games barely load!

And Super Mario 128 is maybe true, though it could be Super Mario DS. But we don't know, as there haven't been any new Mario games, 2D or otherwise, since 2003. NEW, not ports or anything (DS and the GBA titles count as this)

Actually, there are many new Mario games that were anounced at E3.  Such as:
Mario & Luigi 2 (DS) sequal to Super Star Saga
New Super Mario Bros. (DS) 3-D & 2-D graphics in an all new mario side scroller
Super Mario Strikers (GCN) Mario Soccer (football for non-americans)
Mario Party 7 (GCN) another Mario Party?
Mario Baseball (GCN) baseball? really, there are too many sports games allready! we dont need a mario one
DDR:  Mario Mix (GCN) Dance Dance Revolution! for the game cube! FINALY!

It never says that...You know that most PCs today are 32 bit processors, right? You can't know how many bits something is by looking at it, only in the specs. That's like saying just because Farcry has better graphics and faster play than Super Mario 64, therefore computers must have a 128 bit processor. They're 32. Some are 64...not many. Most likely yours is 32.

If that thing before was my opinion, I would have said "I think that Nintendo doesn't work that way...". But I didn't...It's fact. See also Super Mario 64 DS. They didn't call it "Super Mario dual 32". I do agree that I know they would probably drop the 64 on the end. If it came out for GCN, they'd probably call it "Super Mario Gamecube" or something. Either that or "Super Mario 62 2".

I wonder if when they come out with DDR games for Revolution if they're going to name the games "Dance Dance Revolution Revolution"

After having played SM: Sunshine..no, I don't believe there will be another great Mario game to equal what Mario 64 meant back when.

But I wouldn't mind being proven wrong.

the origional name of Super Mario 64 DS was Super Mario 64x4 because of the multiplayer aspect.

Lets do math.  64+64 =128
So mario 128 will be twice as fun as Super mario 64.
I think It should go to Revoultion so people buy the Revolution just for the game.  And So they can enhance the grafixs.  (sorry, can't spell)
