Killzone and TimeSplitters 3 are FPS (First Person Shooters) ...a shoot em up is more like a game where you only have a recticule and you don't have to do any of the walking yourself, just the shooting. Like in the arcades

I liked Time Crisis 2 in the arcades. :) Me and my best friend used to play it all the time and we was so serious when we played lol. ;D
