I'm not sure which is better, RM2003 has a side on battle system, yet XP doesn't....

XP has better graphics
2K3 has side-view battle system (I like this a lot)

It's mostly a matter of opinion.  I, personaly, use XP.

Personally I say XP is better, mainly because there are alot more possibilities on what you can do with it.
Not sure but there may be a script to make battles side view somewhere on the net, if not someone might work out how to do it sometime.
I think all the RPG makers are good in their own ways but I think 2003 and XP are almost even because they both have a few different things.

If you were creative you would see both are basically alike...except for the fact that xp's has more layers. It just comes down to how good you are at creating your own battle sytem and graphics.

I like XP more due to the almost unlimited posisbilty with the coding you can use in it. Also the graphics are much better.
