This is quite an interesting read on the problems of video games right now and what gamers actually want. Will some of these problems be addressed in some of the video games in the near future?

I am glad to find out that the PS3 costs $465.00 that is a good price for something that cool and awsome.

I'd be a little more impressed if it was around $200.
I live in Canada and the US dollar and Canadian dollar are worth different amounts and a $450 PS3 in the States will mean a $675 PS3 in Canada (at a rate of one US dollar equaling 1.5 Canadian dollars, which is an exaggeration).

Basically I don't want to send that much and I'm going to stick with Nintendo who will provide a system that will most likely be under $300 Canadian, and I'll appreciate that.

As for the Manifesto, I agree on most points. You'd think that in an information age we'd be able to influence the outcome of games simply by voicing our opinions. But alas the video gaming industry has gone from the individual based book-like company to a team-based movie-type production company and it's a lot harder t influence that kind of group I'd imagine.

Let's just hope this generation changes everything for the better.

They're right. Usually, you rent a game, see all the awesome features on the box, play it, then it sucks like shit. Most people this days do care about graphics more than gameplay. Microsoft and Sony are basically turning their consoles into PCs with neat little controllers. While Nintendo seems to be the only one concerned about gaming, they're gonna get killed by the dozens of N00BS!!!
