EDIT: I forgot to say who im rooting for... I think Bo would tak this one. BUT Carrie has an advantage since Simon Cowell thinks that she is more of a star (he said that in Oprah. No, I dont watch Oprah..my mom told me that :P)

Btw, I think this year's American Idol is better than the last one. Last year, I knew Fantasia would take it even before the Final 12 was announced for some reason. I just didn't expect Dianna to be her opponent. I thought it was gonna be La Toya or Jasmine. o.o;

This year's American Idol is not particularly strong...but I think Carrie has more of a "star" and idol atribute than Bo.

I think Bo because he plays rock and not country like Carrie...

Thats an article by some one from england 3 days before the finale. My friend pointed this out to me when he saw the article online. I think the newspaper is called Independent news or something. they removed the little paragraph a few hours later. like wtf.

also, have you noticed that anyone who Simon picks is the winner? Before the final 24, simon already said(or implied/hinted) that Carrie would be the winner. He also said that w/ Fantasia and Ruben...and Kelly.

Im not really sure. This controversy has yet to be in the news yet...but some AI forums are doubting the show's integrity. I wish they clear this up now or else i'll stop watching. And usually, the program i dont watch usually ends in 2 seasons so thats not good. :)

=D Guess I was the only one who was right....

Well, there are controversies in almost every single competition. There could be a lot of logical explanations of how Carrie won American Idol over Bo. About the crowd getting pissed...perhaps there were more Bo fans than Carrie fans there? And Simon always picking the winner could be a total coincidence or maybe he is just good at looking at musical talent in singers.

what about the independent artcle that was released 3 days before the contest was over saying carrie won?

It wasn't rigged.  Carrie actually did better than Bo on the finally.  I like both of them even though one of them won and the other lost. 

Carrie won coz she sung Guy Sebastien's first single (The Australian Idol 1 Winner). I think it could be rigged based on that independent article, but i'd doubt it. There are 3 singers left, Bo, Vonzell and Carrie. Vonzell gets knocked out, so all her voters will go to Carrie, meaning Carrie will probably beat Bo, very logical.
