If you have the skills you can do quite well to beat a Viper, but the only advantage Mustangs have over the Vipers is that they weigh less and dont SLIDE through corners, instead we only slide just a tiddy bit, another point, Vipers tend to brake like crap, And another point, if you adjusted the gears on both the Mustang and a Viper, i garantee you that the mustang would still win.

Saq i'm sorry but I'm going to say... you are full of sh!t, first of all, in a drag race everything is a stright quarter mile, no turning no breaking just raw horse power and that extra 200 hourse does come in handy, and if something weigh less it tends to drift more at high speeds thus cars that weight less tends to SLIDE around corners thats elementary physics =P, and no Mustangs won't wing, Mustangs aren't designed for racing, they are more of a show car for pimpy teenage kids while Vipers are actually designed to be a race car

*sighs* okay heres what we'll do. Since GT4 is sooo close to the real thing, we're gonna have a time attack match. Im gonna purchase that 2000 model Mustang and you buy your Viper that you like. The course will be whichever one you want.
