Forums · Your rarest video game??
I'd say pretty much my NES games as their are less and less of them around (they break down, thrown away, etc). I'm going to hold on to these. They'll eventually be good collector's items. As individuals cartridges, I'm not quite sure how rare they are. I'd imagine the Final Fantasy, Donkey Kong + Donkey Kong Jr, and Dragon Warrior I carts would be rarity as well. Some of my cars are also rarer because they've made it to somethingawful's rompit where they are deemed terrible . Hence I think the destruction rate of these games would be highest. I actually have a Bayou Billy and legend of Kage cartridge and YES, I'm keeping it ;D
I got FF7 and 8 for the PC. FF7 for the PC is especially rare. However these days people just pirate these games, so I suppose the box and cds are probably worth more than the game itself.
I also have many more collections of ancient PC games, like Orbits, Strife, God of Thunder, which I doubt anyone can find anywhere these days. But the most popular must be the FF7 PC box and cds.

Jade Cocoon, I did have Jade Cocoon 2 aswell but I sold it. I had to get it from ebay shipped from the states because the UK one didn't have it at the time.
You can't get either of them in stores for some reaosn in the UK. :-/ Unless your extremely lucky and find one in a second hand store.

for me, harvest moon, a wonerful life, I know what you're thinking, I said this because in spain (where I live) you can't even get it! and there isn't any import shops in a 200/300 mile radius of my area, I got it when I went on a short holiday to see my gran in england, and I spotted it in a shop, and bought it, and now I can say to all my friends, "look, I've got a game that you can't buy in spain!" or "¡Mira, tengo un juego que no puedes comprar en España!".
Jade Cocoon.. i've been looking for that game for about 7 years now.
Anyway, the rarest game i have bought is when it was actually released and i was at the door. People were snatching up copies and the store had to use the supplies in the back. When i was the last customer to finaly buy it, it was actually there last copy that they had. I reckon i was very lucky to get that game but theres a problem. It's still in the box sealed and never been played. I dont ever wish to sell it, but i have used it on VBA :)

Sega Saturn: Somehow I have the Christmas version of Nights (I don't know if it's rare but I didn't know it existed).
Phillips CDi: The two Legend of Zelda games and Mario Hotel
Panasonic 3DO: The Dennis Miller Live game (I don't think it's rare, but I think it's stupid)
I also have some rare systems (sorta)
