yeah i know its a shame and they shutted it down just because they didnt have 6.2 mil. im not really into hockey but that is bad news for my bro

heh maybe i exagerate a bit too much but i knew the season was as good as being over back in january. i mean if by any chance it DID come back, what good would it be? 2 games in one season  :-X? At this point, i dont think anyone cares if it comes back this season.

after the superbowl, its just boring. basketball is ok, was never really that great of a fan but the raptors (my hometeam) arent doing that bad this season.

Raptors are not doing that well either...everyone wants out. I hate the coach too. There were actually rumours that the NHL season's going to be "un-cancelled" today...but guess they were there just to get my hopes up.

The NHL season was closed due to a differnece of about 5 mill. NHL wanted a $40,000,000 salary cap, while the NHLPA wanted $45,000,000.... its a shame..

Sry to say, but i really don't like VC anymore. He needs an O.K. team to perform at his best. Look at Iverson last year with Phily averaged well over 20 points a game with NO teammates.. Look at McGrady last year with the Magic, 1st in the league in PPG, with NO teammates.. And Carter is called an All-star? All-stars do there best whereever, not only on posible playoff teams...

I thought NHLPA wanted 49mil cap and NHL wanted 42.5 mil cap. Still, either ways, it's still a very small gap between the two numbers. It's a shame that neither side has the courage and determination to make the deal and save the season.

Well, Carter is an All-star. All-stars don't necessarily have to be good, they just have to be popular and flashy. Some of the best players weren't even in the All-stars game this year. All-star games only have entertainment purposes. They only please the fans. I have a feeling Carter didn't do well this year in Toronto partly because  the coach sucks. I wouldn't want to play on a team where the coach rants and complains 24/7.

i like VC not because he lifted the rptors but bcoz he makes the game exciting w/ his dunks n all

Yes, you numbers are right, it was 49 and 42.5 i was just rushing and just didn't bother getting the exact numbers...

And VC, he is good, but he needs a good team to boost him up to his best.. and he's always injuryed... first game wit nets...injuryed...last season wit raptors injuryed 50% of season.. jeez
