I was wondering what the standard sizes for Avatars and Signatures as i am intrested in creating my own ones.  and help will be much appreciated,

The max on most forums is 500X150 but don't do it max size because unless you're a really good gfx artist it'll look shit. So try something like 400x140.
Avatars usually : 80X80 but I can't remember what the max size for this site is.
