i like the story line of FF6 and 7. My fav. of the series.. but in these new FF's there making, i dont think you can really expect a "wow" story-line as the series is nearing the 20-game mark and good, DIFFERENT story-lines are hard to make after a series this big

no way!! you all got it wrong on the whole FF7/FF8 situation!!! come on! FF8's combat system flowed!

FF7's was good but when I played I always felt there was something missing. You always remebered squashing your first opponent like a bug with a GF in FF8!!  ;D but you have to put it down to wich one u bought and played first...
you generally find that your favorite FF game was the one you bought first. I have FF7 FF8 FF10 FF10-2 (X-2), and I'll always say that 8 ruled over the rest. X-2 was and is a waste of time I haven't completed it yet it kept me interested for 2 weeks and thats it!  :P

But personally I liked koudelka from a looong time ago I played that till it burnt my old Grey PS1 out  ;D ;D, has anybody else played that?? ???

I think FF7 is the worst best-seller ever. It might be because i bought it like a year ago and the graphics were terrible cause im used to the new better graphics

Graphics dont make the game.

Of course, graphics don't make the game, but its really a combination of all. Now, FF7 had the best storyline, but the combat system was a little tough to handle at first, obviously. To me, if you got rid of such easy GF use, FF8 would have had both the best and most complicated system, since you could use spells to power yourself up. If you used this instead of GF's, it was much, much easier. Best graphics... easily FF10. The only reason I liked 10, though, was because of Auron, who's the best character in FF ever, and second best game charactever ever NEXT TO Link, from LoZ. as for 9, it sucked, and I don't care. never bothered to play 3/6, or whatever, but I've gone through one and two. Both of them are quite fun, still better than ff9, but they could be better. Overall, though, I think I'd have to go with a tie between FF8 and FF7. The only real difference is, the storyline and characters from 7 were better, but the combat and actual gameplay was much more fun on 8. and Ragnarock was awesome.
