Of course, graphics don't make the game, but its really a combination of all. Now, FF7 had the best storyline, but the combat system was a little tough to handle at first, obviously. To me, if you got rid of such easy GF use, FF8 would have had both the best and most complicated system, since you could use spells to power yourself up. If you used this instead of GF's, it was much, much easier. Best graphics... easily FF10. The only reason I liked 10, though, was because of Auron, who's the best character in FF ever, and second best game charactever ever NEXT TO Link, from LoZ. as for 9, it sucked, and I don't care. never bothered to play 3/6, or whatever, but I've gone through one and two. Both of them are quite fun, still better than ff9, but they could be better. Overall, though, I think I'd have to go with a tie between FF8 and FF7. The only real difference is, the storyline and characters from 7 were better, but the combat and actual gameplay was much more fun on 8. and Ragnarock was awesome.
