Forums · Choice Band or Scope Lens Honchkrow?
Planning a mono-dark team just to play around with on random Wifi, and one of my muscleheads is to be Honchkrow.
Initially I was planning to make it a CBer and focus solely on offense, because that's all I expect it to be good for (I'd rather Pursuit someone's ass than trick them to switching into a Thunder Wave, though the latter is still excellent.)
However, to that end I can't decide which would be more effective in mowing things down; Scope Lens, making use of Super Luck, or just the Choice Band, which gives me guaranteed raw strength?
Has it been confirmed that Scope Lens boosts ALL attacks under Super Luck to 50% crit rate? Please don't answer unless you're absolutely positive; I hate being misinformed as it results in misinformation being spread.

Choice Band DOESN'T let you pick another move after using Pursuit! So many people had said that it did!
I owned an Electivire with it, and was all set to Drill Peck this guy's burned Scizor and Gallade to death for the win, but couldn't. That ****ing misimpression cost me the match.

What made u think u could use pursuit?
Boosts Attack by x1.5, but only allows the use of one attack until the Pok?mon is called back
In the Japanese version, Pursuit is bugged with Choice items in that it doesn't lock in if you Pursuit some one out. They fixed it for the English version.. Sucker Punch is probably a better bet. Sucker Punch Azelf in the face and see how it goes about its sweep then....
I understand. People got it mixed up, saying you COULDN'T do that in the Japanese version, and it was "fixed" for the US release.
At any rate, CB Krow isn't really pulling its own weight, at least not on a mono team. Tyraniboah, Cacturne and Weavile do pretty much all the work. Subbing out Krow for this guy-
