Alright, So I was playing games on my VBA, and all of a sudden, I noticed that most of the time when I play games on it, that the music , and or characters were slow... I went over to two of my friend's houses, and thiers were working perfectly... No slowness whatsoever... Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem??

P.S. I usually like the music, but when it's slow, it's really annoying...

High frame skip set to 9 and trottle to 1000%

Or it maybe because you're runnning too many programs at the same time..or maybe your comp cant handle VBA emulation :/

I'm willing to bet it's your comp.  With all the settings at default just about any good comp can run VBA without problems.  Try deleting your VBA folder and unzipping a fresh copy.

You may or may not have to delete the registry entry for it as well.

Default settings are frame skip 1, no throttle.  I have mine set to 0, no throttle and everything works like a charm.

This is probably teh best suggetion yet, since this problem happened to me, a while ago

First, do as they say and change the frame skip to AUTO. Leave the throttle alone, as it will just screw it up more. Then go to Priority, and set it to Highest. If that doesn't not work, find the zip file which VBA was in, and re extract it, and it should work fine

If you still aren't experiancing results, then you may have to sacrifice your sound (which i know you won't like as you wanted the music right? ;D )

Go to Menu -> Options -> Sound -> 'Off' (don't choose Mute as it will still emulate the sound, 'Off' will stop the emulation completely)

Once you've done this you should find a dramatic improvement in speed but of course, you won't have any music and sound to support it. But the best advice like most people will say, is to get a new computer.  ;)
